Chip bin comprising a feeding device, an upper container part, a discharge opening and, arranged between the container part and the discharge opening, a discharge zone, without moving parts, the discharge zone having a circular shape in any freely chosen horizontal cross section, and the cross section of the discharge zone decreasing from the container part (4) down towards the discharge opening (7), at least one section (3) of said discharge zone essentially having the shape of a truncated cone with a downwardly continuously decreasing circular cross section, the centre point of which is continuously moved in relation to a vertical line, which is fixed with regard to the chip bin, in such a manner that said section (3) has a centre line which forms an acute angle (.alpha.) in relation to the vertical line.
Benne à copeaux comprenant un dispositif d'alimentation, une partie supérieure récipient, un orifice de décharge et, disposée entre la partie récipient et l'orifice de décharge, une zone de décharge dépourvue d'éléments mobiles. Toutes les sections horizontales de la zone de décharge ont une forme circulaire, et leur dimension diminue depuis la partie récipient (4) jusqu'à l'orifice de décharge (7). Au moins une section (3) de ladite zone de décharge a sensiblement la forme d'un cône tronqué, dont la section circulaire diminue régulièrement vers le bas et dont le centre se déplace continuellement par rapport à une ligne verticale, fixe par rapport à la benne, de façon que l'axe de ladite section (3) forme un angle aigu .alpha. par rapport à la verticale.
