The invention relates to elastic fibres of polyurethaneurea, which are not discoloured by operating steps required to produce loop-formingly knitted fabrics or textiles, for example heat setting or moulding, and can be used in aqueous chlorinated environments, such as swimming pools for example, for swimwear, and to a process for their production. The polyurethaneurea fibres contain hydrotalcites coated with dialkyl sulphosuccinates.
