The process according to the invention relates to the preparation of 2- chloromethyl-thiophene of the formula (I). During this process thiophene is chloromethylated in the presence of one or more compounds containing keto group and optionally it is transformed into the compound of the formula (II). Compounds of formula (I) and (II) are intermediates of several pharmaceutically active ingredients.

Le procédé selon l'invention concerne la préparation de 2-chlorométhyl-thiophène représenté par la formule (I). Dans ce procédé, le thiophène est chlorométhylé en présence d'un ou de plusieurs composés contenant un groupe céto puis éventuellement transformé en un composé représenté par la formule (II). Les composés représentés par les formules (I) et (II) sont des intermédiaires de plusieurs ingrédients pharmaceutiquement actifs.
