A cholesterol ester clathrate comprising a cholesterol ester included in a hydroxyalkylated cyclodextrin; a hydrous composition comprising a hydroxyalkylated cyclodextrin, a cholesterol ester and water; a hydrous composition comprising a hydroxyalkylated cyclodextrin, a cholesterol ester, a hydrous stabilizer, and water; a hydrous composition comprising a hydroxyalkylated cyclodextrin, a cholesterol ester, a clay mineral, and water; cosmetics containing these hydrous compositions; and processes for the preparation thereof. The clathrate exhibits an emulsifying effect in itself. Further, the hydrous compositions are excellent in water-holding capacity and are improved in hydration properties and the resistance to separation at high temperatures.
La présente invention se rapporte à un clathrate d'ester de cholestérol comprenant un ester de cholestérol inclus dans un cyclodextrine hydroxyalkylé; une composition hydratée comprenant un cyclodextrine hydroxyalkylé, un ester de cholestérol et de l'eau; une composition hydratée comprenant un cyclodextrine alkylé, un ester de cholestérol, un stabilisateur hydraté et de l'eau; une composition aqueuse comprenant un cyclodextrine alkylé, un ester de cholestérol, un minéral argileux et de l'eau; des produits cosmétiques contenant ces compositions aqueuses; et leurs procédés de préparation. Par lui-même, le clathrate a un effet émulsifiant. En outre, les compositions aqueuses possèdent d'excellentes propriétés de rétention d'eau et des propriétés améliorées quant à l'hydratation et à la résistance à la séparation aux températures élevées.
