The invention relates to chromium and nickel oxide-based mass catalysts, characterized in that the Ni/Cr ratio is between 0.05 and 5 and that they are obtained by a process consisting essentially in: a) forming a sol of chromium III and nickel II hydroxides, b) gelling this sol, and c) drying and calcining the product at a temperature of between 250 and 450 degrees C. The invention also relates to a process for fluorination of halogenated, saturated or olefinic hydrocarbons by HF in gaseous phase, characterized in that a catalyst is used as defined above.
L'invention concerne des catalyseurs massiques à base d'oxydes de chrome et de nickel, caractérisés en ce que le rapport atomique Ni/Cr est compris entre 0,05 et 5 et qu'il sont obtenus par un procédé consistant essentiellement: a) à former un sol d'hydroxydes de chrome III et de nickel II, b) à gélifier ce sol, et c) à sécher et calciner le produit à une température comprise entre 250 et 450°C. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fluoration par HF en phase gazeuse d'hydrocarbures halogénés, saturés ou oléfiniques, caractérisé en ce qu'on utilise un catalyseur tel que défini précédemment.
