Apparatus for introducing cigarette groups into cigarette packs Abstract: (In conjunction with Figure 5) In the production of (cigarette)packs, especially in the design as hinge-lid packs, the introduction of a group of cigarettes (cigarette block) into the partial- ly folded pack presents a special problem because of the high productive capacity of the packaging machines and the high transport speeds necessary as a result. In the present case, the cigarette block is fed in the radial direction to a folding turret for the pack, the cigarette block being received in a block pocket during a transport stage.
