Cigarette fitted with a device suitable to retain the tar contained in tobacco smoke. This device, installed between tobacco (T) or the combusted material and the smoker's mouth, consists of a chamber (IPOB) with a hypobaric action with one (or more) inlet hole(s) (Ca1) by which smoke enters and one (or more) outlet hole(s) (Ca2) through which the smoker inhales the smoke. Within this chamber a state of reduced pressure is created caused by the difference in dimensions between the inlet duct(s) and the outlet duct(s) and the product of combustion is subjected to repeated accelerations and decelerations such as to promote separation of the particles of greater mass and make them deposit on the interior walls of the hypobaric chamber and/or device as above not essentially inserted into a cigarette.
Cette invention a trait à une cigarette équipée d'un dispositif capable de retenir le goudron que contient la fumée. Ce dispositif, placé entre le tabac (T) ou le matériau en combustion et la bouche du fumeur, est constitué d'une enceinte (IPOB) douée d'une action hypobare et pourvue d'un ou de plusieurs orifices d'admission de la fumée (Ca1) et d'un ou de plusieurs orifices de sortie (Ca2) par lesquels le fumeur inhale la fumée. Il se crée, dans cette enceinte, une réduction de la pression, réduction provoquée par la différence de dimensions existant entre les conduits d'admission et ceux de sortie. Le produit de la combustion est soumis à des accélérations ainsi qu'à des décélérations répétées, ce qui a pour effet d'amener les particules de masse supérieure à se séparer et à se déposer sur les parties internes des parois de l'enceinte hypobare. L'invention concerne également un dispositif tel que celui qui vient d'être décrit mains qui ne s'incorpore pas nécessairement dans la cigarette.
