The invention concerns cinerary urns and funerary monuments made of stone. The invention concerns a receptacle for a stone funerary urn (10) comprising a cylindrical block (11) hollowed from one first end to a second end (18) and a cover (12) comprising a sealing portion and an assembling portion (13), the sealing portion closing the block first end, the assembling portion (13) projecting from the first end, the second end (18) comprising an internal countersinking (19) for receiving an inner seal (20) and be fitted on an assembling portion (13) projecting from the cover of another identical receptacle (10'), to form a funerary column. The invention further concerns a method for making such receptacles from a column turned in natural stone, which consists in carrying out a double coaxial coring of the column in one single operation, to form the block (11) comprising a cylindrical recess passing through from a first end to a second end (18) and a countersinking (19) of an internal portion of the recess.
L'invention concerne les urnes cinéraires et les monuments funéraires en pierre. L'invention prévoit un réceptacle d'urne funéraire (10) en pierre comprenant un boisseau cylindrique (11) évidé d'une première à une seconde extrémité (18) et un couvercle (12) comportant une portion de scellement et une portion d'assemblage (13), la portion de scellement obturant la première extrémité du boisseau, la portion d'assemblage (13) saillant de la première extrémité, la seconde extrémité (18) comportant un lamage interne (19) apte à recevoir un opercule (20) et à s'emboîter sur une portion d'assemblage (13) saillante de couvercle d'un autre réceptacle (10') identique, pour former une colonne funéraire. L'invention prévoit aussi un procédé de fabrication de tels réceptacles à partir d'une colonne tournée en pierre naturelle, dans lequel on effectue un double carottage coaxial de la colonne en une seule opération, pour former un boisseau (11) comportant un évidement cylindrique traversant d'une première à une seconde extrémité (18) et un lamage (19) d'une portion interne de l'évidement.
