- 15 - Abstract of the disclosure In a circuit arrangement having a measurement coil (L) disposed in one arm (2) of a bridge circuit, according to the invention to power the bridge circuit there are provided two synchronized signal generators (14, 16), which are mutually independently controllable and can supply the bridge circuit simultaneously with differing voltages. As a result of this, a balancing of the bridge circuit and thus an eddy current testing at differing measurement frequencies is possible, without mechanically variable circuit elements being required in the arms (2, 8).
