ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A circuit arrangement for feeding an electrical load, solar generator provides that the current output by the solar generator has a prescribed ratio to the measured value which is a measure for the short-circuit current of the solar generator. Such a circuit arrangement has an optimally-high efficiency. This is achieved with comparatively low expense in that the short-circuit current of the solar generator is measured pulse-wise. The circuit arrangement can be employed with particular advantage for charging batteries in solar systems.
