A coating dispensing spray gun (20) includes a first port (34) adapted to supply compressed gas to the spray gun (20) and a second port (36) adapted to supply coating material. The spray gun (20) further includes a generator (38) having a shaft (42) and a turbine wheel (40) mounted on the shaft (42). Compressed gas coupled to the first port (34) impinges upon the turbine wheel (40) to spin the shaft (42), producing voltage. The spray gun (20) further includes an electrode (62) adjacent the nozzle (30) and coupled by circuitry to the generator (38) to receive electricity therefrom to electrostatically charge the coating material. A circuit board assembly (70, 72,. 74) containing components of the circuitry is configured to partially surround and partially enclose the generator (38).
L'invention concerne un pistolet de pulvérisation pour la distribution de revêtement (20) qui comprend un premier orifice (34) conçu pour fournir du gaz comprimé au pistolet de pulvérisation (20) et un deuxième orifice (36) conçu pour fournir un matériau de revêtement. Ledit pistolet de pulvérisation (20) comprend également un générateur (38) dans lequel est monté un arbre (42) et une roue (40) de turbine montée sur l'arbre (42). Du gaz comprimé injecté dans le premier orifice (34) entre en contact avec la roue (40) de turbine pour faire tourner l'arbre (42), ce qui produit une tension. Ledit pistolet de pulvérisation (20) comprend en outre une électrode (62) adjacente à la buse (30) et couplée par un ensemble de circuits au générateur (38) pour recevoir de l'électricité à partir de celui-ci afin de charger électrostatiquement le matériau de revêtement. Un ensemble carte de circuits imprimés (70, 72, 74) contenant des composants de l'ensemble de circuits est conçu pour entourer partiellement et renfermer partiellement le générateur (38).
