ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A stored energy system of a circuit breaker operating mechanism comprises a telescopic link having a guide and a cap with relative movement between which at least one closing spring is inserted. At the end of charging travel, a removable blocking device can be inserted in orifices of the cap and guide to lock the telescopic link. The release of a recharging cam by unlocking a closing pawl then causes a break in the mechanical link with a drive lever, so as to allow the sub-assembly formed by the telescopic link and the clo- sing spring in the compressed state to be removed.
