Un disjoncteur à haute tension à chambre de coupure comprenant une enveloppe cylindrique étanche remplie de gaz à bonnes propriétés diélectriques tel que l'hexafluo- rure de soufre et contenant un contact permanent fixe, un contact d'arc fixe et un équipage mobile comprenant des contacts permanents et des contacts d'arc et associé à des moyens de soufflage.
