CIRCUIT BREAKER WITH SELF-CONTAINED ELECTRONIC TRIP ACTUATOR ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A molded case circuit breaker provides both over- current protection as well as accessory protection func- tion by means of a self-contained electronic trip actua- tor module. Undervoltage release function is provided by a separate undervoltage release assembly that in- cludes the undervoltage coil and an electronic control circuit. Shunt trip facility is provided by the shunt trip coil and a shunt trip control circuitry. The over- current, shunt trip and undervoltage release coils are arranged on 2 magnetic circuit within the electronic actuator module.
