The invention relates to a circuit for correcting the power factor. Said circuit comprises a power rectifier (14). The input side of said rectifier is connected to an a.c. voltage source and the output side of said rectifier is connected to a series connection consisting of a condenser (CS1) and a diode (DS1). The diode (DS1) is arranged in such a way that the condenser cannot be charged by the output signal of the power rectifier via the diode. The connection point between the first and the second switch (T1, T2) of a half-bridge or full-bridge is connected to a point of the connection of condenser and diode pertaining to the series connection consisting of the condenser and the diode via an inductance (L) and forms a connection for a load (LD). The signal on said connection is provided with a significantly higher frequency in operation than the output signal of the a.c. voltage source. A storage condenser (CS) is connected parallel in relation to the two switches. At least one further diode (DP1; DP2) is arranged between the storage condenser and the power rectifier in such a way that discharging of the storage condenser by means of the power rectifier is prevented.

La diode (DS1) est ainsi configurée que le condensateur ne peut être chargé par le signal de sortie du redresseur par l'intermédiaire de la diode. Le point de connexion entre les premier et second commutateurs (T1, T2) d'un demi-pont ou d'un pont intégral est relié par l'intermédiaire d'une inductance (L) avec un point de la connexion du condensateur et de la diode du couplage en série, et constitue une connexion pour une charge (LD). Le signal au niveau de cette connexion présente en fonctionnement une fréquence considérablement plus élevée que celle du signal de sortie de la source de courant alternatif. Un condensateur de puissance (Cs) est couplé en parallèle aux deux commutateurs. Au moins une autre diode (DP1; DP2) est placée de telle manière entre le condensateur de puissance et le redresseur qu'une décharge du condensateur de puissance par l'intermédiaire du redresseur est évitée.
