This invention concerns a circuit for signal transmitters in traffic control systems with LEDs (4 to 15) for emitting colored light. Said circuit is supplied with a.c. voltage and has two groups of LEDs (4 to 9 and 10 to 15), which are connected antiparallel to one another. This creates a simple and easy to monitor inherently safe system for signal transmission.
