-1- Circuitry for Control of the Temperature of a Heating Element Adapted to be Contacted by a Material to be Heated Abstract A circuit arrangement for control of the temperature of a heating element (1) adapted for contact by a material (2) to be heated includes a transformer wherein the secondary winding (1) is a metal ring (1) which is the heating element (1) with a temperature detection winding (5) provided on the core (3) of the transformer. An electronic switch (8) and current sensing means (9) are connected to the primary (4). A comparator (10), which receives input signals from the current sensing means (9) and temperature detection winding (S), is operatively connected to the electronic switch (8) to control its operation.
