Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to circuitry for controlling writing of data into a recorder. The circuit includes two data lines each of which may carry a binary one or a binary zero. A resistor network divider has two inputs for receiving the binary signals and an output coupled to the recorder. In accordance with the invention, the resistor network has three different level output signals corresponding to three different coded inputs. Specifically, a one and a one produce a high output, a zero and a zero produce a low output, and a one and a zero produce a mid-level output.
