A latchless dynamic asynchronous digital pipeline circuit provides decoupled control of pull-up and pull-down. Using two decoupled input, a stage is driven through three distinct phases in sequence: evaluate, isolate and precharge. In the isolate phase, a stage holds its outputs stable irrespective of any changes at its inputs. Adjacent pipeline stages are capable of storing distinct data items without spacers.

L'invention concerne un circuit pipeline numérique asynchrone dynamique sans verrou assurant une commande découplée d'excursion haute et d'excursion basse. En utilisant deux entrées découplées, on commande un étage à travers trois phases séquentielles distinctes : d'évaluation, d'isolation et de précharge. Dans la phase d'isolation, un étage maintient sa sortie stable, indépendamment des variations de ses entrées. Des étages pipeline adjacents peuvent stocker des objets de données distincts, sans éléments séparateurs.
