A circulation cooling system for a cryogenic cable, in which a reservoir unit can be downsized and in which a conventional adjustment mechanism and adjustment work for adjustment of the quantity of refrigerant in a reservoir unit are not required. The circulation cooling system for a cryogenic cable has a reservoir unit (1) for containing refrigerant and a cable cooling section (4) for cooling the cable by the refrigerant sent from the reservoir unit (1), and the refrigerant sent from the reservoir unit (4) is returned to the reservoir unit (1) and circulated. The circulation cooling system has a refrigerant temperature adjustment mechanism (2, 5) for holding the quantity of the refrigerant in the reservoir unit (1) at a constant level.
