ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A circulator pump is provided for a plant for the utilization of solar heat. The installation includes a first heat exchanger for collecting heat having a high heat value, the heat exchanger being disposed within a solar collector. A medium is provided for receiving heat collected in the first heat exchanger. A second heat exchanger is provided for collecting heat having a lower heat value with respect to the first heat exchanger. A circulator pump is provided for circulating the medium through the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger, the circulator pump being a prime mover driven by a pressure difference between the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger and being a charger pump. The prime mover and charger pump operate as differential piston pumps having a common piston rod, each such piston pump being operatively disposed within a chamber in- cluding control ducts, which load, via fluidic connections, an auxiliary control slider member. The auxiliary control slider member is reciprocated within the chamber, and upon reaching end portions of the differential pis- ton, switches the chambers of the two differential piston pumps to effect oppositely directed movement. Thus, the pump may be used to provide heat to a swimming pool, or to provide thermal drive for a refrigerator or an air conditioning system.
