CIRCUMFERENTIAL CONDUIT MEANS FOR INFLATING A CLOSED TORUS TIRE Abstract of the Disclosure A closed torus tire (10) is inflated by means of a circumferential conduit (20) located at the interface of the tire (10) and a rim (11). The closed inflation chamber (13) of the closed torus tire communicates with the circumferential conduit via an air inlet passageway (21) through the annular base region (14) of the tire's carcass. An inflation valve passageway (36) through the rim also communicates with the circumferential conduit to provide an air conduit means for inflating the closed torus tire.
