Abstract Cis-diammineplatinum(II) organophosphate complexes where the organophosphate moiety is a glycerophosphate or a mono- saccharide p osphate moiety are prepared by reaction of cis- diaquodiammineplatinum(II) salts with alkali metal organophosphates. The resulting complexes possess pronounced anti-tumor activity and low toxicity; consequently, they have high therapeutic indices.
