Abstract Cis-Platinum(II) amine lactate complexes are pre- pared by reaction of the appropriate platinum(II) amine chloride complex with silver lactate. These complexes possess pronounced anti-tumor activity and low toxicity and thus have high therapeutic indices. They are also highly soluble in water.
