A clamp of the present invention can eliminate the insufficient strength and the complication in working of a conventional clamp, and enables to hold even pipes having the different diameters. Also, there is provided a universal clamp which can hold the pipes orthogonally, parallel or diagonally by one set of clamps. In a main body of the clamp, a body to be held (7) having two concave portions are pivotally mounted on one end of a holding body (1) with a pin (8), and a groove-type auxiliary holding body (10) is pivotally mounted on the other end of the holding body with a pin (9). A thread is formed on the tip end of the auxiliary holding body (10) for screwing a bolt (11) by caulking a caulking reinforcement member (1) or mounting a nut (13) or thickening the tip end of the auxiliary holding body (10). Pipes are clamped by the holding body (1) and the body to be held (7), the auxiliary holding body (10) is covered on the body to be held (7) and the bolt (11) is tightened and pressedly fitted to the concave portion of the body to be held for holding the pipes. In case of constituting an orthogonally universal clamp, when one holding body (1) is rotated together with the main shaft (3) and the pin fit cover member (4) is pushed up, the other holding body (2) and the pin fit cover member (4) are released from the rotation of the main shaft. When two holding bodies (1, 2) are located to be orthogonal or parallel to each other, the pin fit cover member (4) is covered on the main shaft (3), and one holding body (1) is fixed to the other holding body (2).
