Abstract of the Disclosure A clamp arrangement for securing sheet material to a base comprising a clamp having a pair of jaw plates with opposed grooves to act as jaws. The jaws are to receive a rod with a sheet extending around it. There is a clamp for drawing the plates together to cause the jaws to grip the rod and thus secure the sheet to the rod. The clamp comprises a bolt secured to one of the plates and extending through a hole in the other of the plates. A locking bar is mounted for rotation on the bolt adjacent the other plate. The bolt is arranged to prevent movement of the bar outwardly along the bolt. There is a protuberance on the adjacent plate, near the bolt. The bar is rotatable on the bolt from a position clear of the protuberance, at which time the jaws are open, to a locking position on the protuberance to move the jaws towards each other to grip a rod and sheet between them. The invention avoids the use of grommets, which have a tendency to tear sheets, particularly plastic sheets, and need to be inserted in the sheets.
