An attachment for an automatic sewing machine, or the like, consisting of equipment that positions and clamps a piece of cloth or the like on a base fabric using a jig-guide (13) (17) that moves automatically after a first seam has been sewn along a peripheral edge of the cloth. The jig-guide is coupled with another device to facilitate the loading and positioning of the pieces of cloth. Loading is carried out using a sliding plane (31) which is provided with precise reference points only and does not include any mechanism that might hinder the insertion of the cloth. The sliding plane (31) moves on a fixed bed (32). The edges of the sliding plane are bent downwards over the edges of the fixed bed and the sliding plane (31) slides on the fixed bed (32) in response to the movements of a piston (42) or the like.
Accessoire pour machine à coudre et autres machines semblables consistant en un dispositif servant à positionner et à immobiliser une pièce de tissu ou autre article semblable sur un support textile à l'aide d'un guide de tête sauteuse (13 et 17) qui se déplace automatiquement dès qu'une première couture est réalisée à la partie périphérique de la pièce de tissu. Le guide de tête sauteuse est couplé à un autre dispositif utilisé pour faciliter le chargement et le positionnement des pièces de tissu. Le chargement est effectué à l'aide d'une plaque coulissante (31) comportant des points de référence précis seulement, et qui ne comporte aucun mécanisme susceptible d'entraver la mise en place de la pièce de tissu. La plaque coulissante (31) se déplace sur un lit fixe (32). Les bords de la plaque coulissante sont repliés vers le bas par- dessus les bords du lit fixe, et la plaque coulissante (31) se déplace sur le lit fixe (32) en réponse aux mouvements d'un piston (42) ou autre mécanisme semblable.
