ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a clamp fitting for pipes, comprising a stirrup with divergent arms, with stops toward the ends of said arms, at least one of said stops being a nut screwed on a thread of the arm, and a clamping member pre- senting a median part of incurved form, provided towards its ends with laterally open sleeves and abutting on the end stops of said arms, wherein the transverse plane of symmetry of the clamping member is offset, with respect to the transverse plane of symmetry of the stirrup, by a distance oriented in the same direction as the one from the bottom of the sleeves towards their lateral opening.
