ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved anchoring system for use with regard to a wide variety of materials including a self-tightening clamp comprising a J-shaped member provided with a plurality of apertures extending therethrough and at least one elongated opening extending therethrough, a strap securing shaft provided with a plurality of apertures, and at least one elongated opening therein, bolt means for securing the shaft within the clamp member. The system also comprises an anchor head, an anchoring cable between the anchor head and the clamp and a drive rod for embedding the anchor head.
