ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A clamp on magazine rack for a door comprises a receptacle having an open upper portion and at least one vertically positioned bowed support member secured to said receptacle and extending therebelow, the support member is arranged with its convex surface towards said receptacle and there is at least one u-shaped member for engagement on the bottom of the door with its vertical portions on either side of the door to hold the support member and clamping means on one of said vertical portions of the u-shaped member for urging the lower end of said bowed support member toward said door whereby the upper end of said bowed support member is firmly engaged against the door by the distortion of the bowed support member so as to hold the receptacle firmly against the door. This invention is distinguishable from other inventions by reason of the arrangement of the bowed support member and the receptacle by which distortion of the support member holds the receptacle against the door. -2-
