A chuck (11) for accommodating a multipart collet for clamping a workpiece in place has a housing (12) with a collet receptacle (13) having a guide device (17) and guide surfaces (18). The collet (15) is movable on the chuck (11) in the axial direction. The guide device (17) has balls (21) as rolling elements on the guide surfaces (18), of which a multiplicity are contiguously arranged on a rolling element holder (20). They are movable together with the latter in the guide device (17) from an initial position into the chuck (15). A restoring device (32) is provided for the rolling element holder (20), with a direction of action out of the chuck (15), in order to move the balls (21) back into the initial position when no collet (15) is in the chuck (15).
Un mandrin de serrage (11) destiné à recevoir une pince de serrage (15) en plusieurs parties en vue de serrer une pièce présente un boîtier (12) avec un logement de pince de serrage (13) présentant un dispositif de guidage (17) et des faces de guidage (18). La pince de serrage (15) est mobile en direction axiale sur le mandrin de serrage (11). Le dispositif de guidage (17) présente des billes (21) comme corps de roulement sur les faces de guidage (18), dont une pluralité sont disposées de façon contiguë sur un support de corps de roulement (20). Avec celui-ci, elles sont mobiles dans le dispositif de guidage (17) depuis une position initiale jusque dans le mandrin de serrage (11). Il est prévu un dispositif de rappel (32) pour le support de corps de roulement (20), avec une direction d'action dirigée vers l'extérieur du mandrin de serrage (11), pour ramener les billes (21) dans la position initiale, lorsqu'aucune pince de serrage (15) ne se trouve dans le mandrin de serrage (11).
