A wax composition comprising a high molecular weight aliphatic alcohol, a low molecular weight ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, at least one odorant, and a wax. The odorant is substantially retained in the wax composition when the wax composition is exposed to temperatures below a melting point of the wax composition. Furthermore, the odorant is emitted from the wax composition when the wax composition is exposed to temperatures at or above the melting point of the wax composition.
L'invention a trait à une composition de cire contenant un alcool aliphatique à poids moléculaire élevé, un copolymère éthylène-acétate de vinyle à faible poids moléculaire, au moins un odorisant et une cire. Ledit odorisant est sensiblement retenu dans la composition de cire lorsque cette dernière est exposée à des températures inférieures à son point de fusion, et il est libéré de la composition de cire lorsque cette dernière est exposée à des températures égales ou supérieures à son point de fusion.
