A cleaner for a grinder of the kind having two opposed cups the bases of which have upstanding pins is disclosed. When the cups are coupled they define a grinding chamber and the pins are interdigitated so that relative rotation of the cups causes grinding a material in the grinding chamber. The cleaner comprises a tubular structure having a grip portion and a cleaner section to engage one of the cups the cleaner section having an abrading surface for engagement with a cup surface to be cleaned.
