The cleaning and disinfecting device (110) comprises a wash chamber (112) for accommodating the care utensils (118) and a spray system (126) for applying a cleaning fluid to the care utensils (118). The spray system (126) further comprises a nozzle (130) for issuing at least one stream (132) of the cleaning fluid. In the process, a stream direction at which the stream (132) is issued can be adjusted.
