CLEANING AND INSULATING WIRE Abstract of the Disclosure Cleaning an indefinite length of wire by feeding the wire through a bed of abrasive particles and moving the wire continuously in a lateral direction so as to break any air barrier around the wire and promote contact between the wire and the abrasive particles. An electromagnet immersed in the bed creates an electromagnetic field which moves the wire around a circular path centered on its feed direction. - i -
