- 1 - CLEANING APPARATUS A B S T R A C T Cleaning apparatus comprising a hand-held motor-driven brush rotating, in use, to spread cleaning fluid on a surface to be cleaned by the brush, and incorporating means to supply the fluid to the brush head, is characterised by the feature that the brush is a cylindrical brush whose bristles emerge generally from the longitudinal axis about which the cylinder, defined by the bristle-ends, rotates in use; and in another broad aspect by the features, that the motor and optionally the pump form a back-pack unit, with the drive from the motor to the brush, and optionally the fluid line from the pump to the brush, running from this unit to the brush handle and being sufficiently flexible to allow the user of the appar- atus to move the brush about the surface to be cleaned.
