- 1 - Abstract: The invention relates to a cleaning composition for artificial dentures which comprise .beta.-1,3-glucanase as an essential component. This enzyme has proved to be remark- ably effective at removing Candida albicans from denture surfaces and is thus useful for not only removing the plaque from dentures but also for preventing stomatitis that often accompanies the use of dentures.
