Abstract of the Disclosure Cleaning apparatus for cleaning material from a support surface includes a cleaning blade with a tip and a first atom portion adapted to be mounted as a scraper blade in contact with the surface to be cleaned. The lower stem portion extends towards the tip portion with a component in the direction of motion of the surface to be cleaned. When such a blade is used in conjunction with another scraper blade which is located downstream, the lower stem portion acts to deflect material moving in opposition to the direction of motion of the surface being cleaned away from that surface. The tip and upper stem portion act as a separate scraper blade.
