ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to a method and apparatus for removing concrete particles from the walls of a mould utilized in the casting of concrete elements such as, e.g. concrete railway ties or sleepers, and includes the moving of a wheeled carriage over the mould so that scraper blades and air jet nozzles can be lowered into the mould whereby the blades can scrape the walls of the mould and jets of air can impinge the walls during travel of the carriage so as to remove the particles.
