Abstract A device for transporting pourable goods includes a conveyor belt looped around a drum establishing an upper and a lower run. A cleaning device for the drum is provided in the form of a stripper disposed between the upper and lower runs of the belt and abutting the rotating drum. A pivotable trough for receiving stripped off dirt is arranged underneath the stripper. There may be a plurality of strippers spaced apart along the exten- sion of the drum, the strippers being mounted to an axially displaceable unit for reciprocating along the periphery and in the axial direction of the drum.
