ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An aerosol wax and polysiloxane composition useful for cleaning and polishing non-adsorbent hard shiny surfaces comprising a water-in-oil emulsion having an outer oil phase as the continuous phase and an aqueous phase as the discontin- uous phase is disclosed. The outer oil phase comprises a solvent vehicle containing substantially all of the wax and the polysiloxane of the composition. The aqueous phase comprises particles of an abrasive substance suspended therein such that at least 90 percent of such particles have a size smaller than 200 mesh. Additionally, the composition can contain a pH con- trol agent, anamine, water-based cleaning solvents and other conventional substances such as preservatives, odor masking substances, etc.
