The present invention relates to a substantially dry, disposable, personal cleansing product useful for both cleansing and conditioning the skin/hair and providing improved fragrance delivery. These articles are used by the consumer by wetting the dry article with water. The article comprises a water insoluble substrate, a lathering surfactant, and a fragrance-releasing complex. Preferably, the articles of the present invention further comprise a conditioning component. Use of the substrate enhances lathering at low surfactant levels, increases cleansing and exfoliation, optimizes delivery and deposition of conditioning ingredients, and provides desirable characteristics such as texture, thickness and bulk. As a result, this invention provides effective cleansing using low, and hence less irritating, levels of surfactant while providing superior conditioning benefits by using a substrate having desirable characteristics. The invention also encompasses products further comprising a coating material for encapsulating the fragrance- releasing complex. The invention also encompasses products comprising various active ingredients for delivery to the skin or hair. The invention also encompasses methods for manufacturing these products.
L'invention concerne un produit démaquillant sensiblement sec, jetable, qui convient comme nettoyant et revitalisant pour la peau ou les cheveux, et présente des qualités améliorées de diffusion de parfum. L'article sec est mouillé par l'usager avant utilisation. L'article comprend un substrat insoluble dans l'eau, un tensioactif moussant et un complexe capable de libérer un parfum. De préférence, les articles de l'invention comprennent en outre un élément revitalisant. L'utilisation du substrat augmente le moussage avec une faible teneur en tensioactifs, accroît les propriétés de nettoyage et de desquamation, optimise la diffusion et le dépôt des ingrédients revitalisants, et présente des caractéristiques appropriées en termes de texture, d'épaisseur et de volume. Le produit de l'invention permet donc un nettoyage efficace utilisant un tensioactif de faible teneur, et donc moins irritant, mais possédant en même temps des qualités revitalisantes supérieures grâce à un substrat qui présente des caractéristiques appropriées. L'invention concerne également des produits contenant aussi une matière d'enrobage pour encapsuler ledit complexe capable de libérer un parfum. L'invention concerne en outre des produits qui contiennent divers ingrédients actifs diffusant sur la peau ou dans les cheveux. L'invention concerne enfin des procédé de fabrication desdits produits.
