The invention relates to clear and thickening aqueous compositions containing at least two non-ionic surfactants and at least one polyurethane composition consisting of at least one alkyl, aryl or arylalkyl grouping or a mixture of such groupings, at least one polyalkylene glycol grouping and at least one isocyanate grouping selected from 1-decyl isocyanate, 1-dodecyl isocyanate, mirystyl isocyanate, palmityl isocyanate, stearyl isocyanate, 1,4-butane di- isocyanate, 1,6-hexane diisocyanate, cycloaliphatic diisocyanates, isophorone diisocyanate, 1,3- and 1,4-cyclohexane diisocyanate, 4,4'diisocyanatodicyclohexylmethane, 1-methyl-2,4-diisocyanatocyclohexane and a mixture thereof with 1-methyl-2,6-diisocyanatocyclohexane, hexamethylene diisocyanate biuret, hexamethylene diisocyanate trimer, isophorone diisocyanate trimer, and mixtures thereof. The invention further relates to the use of said compositions for thickening acidic aqueous formulations while preserving the clear nature thereof. The resulting thickened clear acidic aqueous formulations are also part of the invention.
L'invention réside dans des compositions aqueuses épaississantes et limpides contenant au moins 2 tensioactifs non ioniques, et au moins 1 composé polyuréthanne constitué d'au moins un groupement du type alkyle ou aryle ou aryalkyle ou le mélange de ces groupements, d'au moins un groupement du type polyalkylène glycol, et d'au moins un groupement isocyanate choisi parmi le 1-décyl isocyanate, le 1-dodécyl isocyanate, le mirystyl isocyanate, le palmityl isocyanate, le stéaryl isocyanate, le 1,4-butane di- isocyanate, le 1,6-hexane diisocyanate, les diisocyanates cycloaliphatiques, l'isophorone diisocyanate, les 1,3- et 1,4- cyclohexane diisocyanate, le 4,4' diisocyanatodicyclohexylmethane, le l-methyl-2,4-diisocyanatocyclohexane et son mélange avec le l-methyl-2,6-diisocyanatocyclohexane, le biuret de l'hexamethylene diisocyanate, le trimère de l'hexamethylene diisocyanate, le trimère de l'isophorone diisocyanate, et leurs mélanges. L'invention consiste aussi dans leur utilisation pour épaissir des formulations aqueuses acides, tout en maintenant leur caractère limpide. Les formulations aqueuses acides limpides et ainsi épaissies constituent un dernier objet de l'invention.
