Disclosed is a clear, crystal-free, soap-gelled cosmetic stick composition. The composition includes a soap gelling agent (e.g., sodium stearate); at least two aliphatic polyhydric alcohols that are solvents for the soap gelling agent and that have a relatively small milecular weight and a relatively large molecular weight (e.g., propylene glycol and dipropylene glycol), respectively; a propoxylated ether that is a further solvent for the soap gelling agent, such as a propoxylated butyl ether (e.g., PPG-14 butyl ether); water, and a clarifying agent. The clarifying agent is a mixture of (a) a propoxylated fatty alcohol, such as a propoxylated myristyl ether (e.g., PPG-3 myristyl ether), and (b) a water-soluble, N-substituted aliphatic fatty acid amide surfactant (e.g., a combination of cocamide DEA and cocoyl sarcosine). The stick composition has improved surface aesthetics and improved payout, and has less pullaway from the container. The disclosed cosmetic stick composition can be a vehicle for various active materials, such as deodorant active materials, sunscreens, etc., so as to provide a clear deodorant stick, a sunscreen stick, etc.
L'invention concerne une composition cosmétique claire, exempte de cristaux, gélifiée par un savon et se présentant sous la forme d'un bâtonnet. La composition comprend un agent de gélification à base de savon (par exemple, du stéarate de sodium); au moins deux alcools aliphatiques polyvalents qui sont des solvants de l'agent de gélification à base de savon et qui possèdent respectivement un poids moléculaire relativement faible et un poids moléculaire relativement important (par exemple, du propylène glycol et du dipropylène glycol); un éther propoxylé qui est un autre solvant de l'agent de gélification à base de savon, tel qu'un éther butylique propoxylé (par exemple, éther butylique PPG-14); de l'eau; et un agent de clarification. L'agent de clarification est un mélange (a) d'un alcool gras propoxylé, tel qu'un éther myristylique propoxylé (par exemple, éther myristylique PPG-3) et (b) d'un tensioactif d'amide d'acide gras aliphatique N-substitué soluble dans l'eau (par exemple, une combinaison de DEA de cocamide et de sarcosine de cocoyle).
