A rail vehicle (SCH) comprising an anticlimber (AKS) disposed in a vehicle end region (END) and extending over substantially the entire width of the vehicle, wherein there is disposed, in the end region (END) of the rail vehicle (SCH), at least one anticlimber element (AAE, AAE') forming a partial vertical extension of the anticlimber (AKS), which anticlimber element is capable of engaging the anticlimber (AKS, AKS') of another rail vehicle in the event of a collision.

L'invention concerne un véhicule ferroviaire (SCH) pourvu d'un dispositif anti-chevauchement (AKS), placé au niveau d'une zone d'extrémité frontale (END) du véhicule et s'étendant sensiblement sur toute la largeur dudit véhicule. Selon la présente invention, au moins un élément anti-chevauchement (AAE, AAE'), prolongeant partiellement le dispositif anti-chevauchement (AKS) dans le sens vertical, est placé au niveau de la zone d'extrémité frontale (END) du véhicule ferroviaire (SCH), lequel élément peut entrer en prise avec le dispositif anti-chevauchement (AKS, AKS') d'un autre véhicule ferroviaire lors d'une collision.
