A retention clip (10) which secures radiant heating tubing (48) to a reinforcing bar or wire (50) used to reinforce a concrete slab. In one embodiment, the clip (10) has a C-shaped body (12) which includes a pair of parallel legs (14, 16) connected by a straight bight (18). The bight (18) is hinged (26) in the center so it can be bent to bring the free ends of the legs (14, 16) together. A pin (42) on one leg (16) then enters a socket (36) on the other leg (14) and a flange (44) on the pin (42) interlocks with a shoulder (40) of the socket (36) to hold the clip (10) around the tubing (48) and reinforcing element (50). The clip body (12) has stiffening ribs (28, 30, 32) to enhance its strength and dimensional stability. An alternative embodiment provides a straight clip body (112) having a central hinge joint (122) and two elbow joints (128) about which the body (112) can be flexed to bring interlocking ends together. Each elbow joint (128) includes opposing pairs of lugs (168) which provide stability. A block (120) on one side of each elbow joint (128) enters a groove (138) between the opposing lugs (168) to lock the joint (128) against sideward swaying.

Le corps de l'attache (12) est pourvu de nervures de renforcement (28, 30, 32) permettant d'augmenter sa rigidité et sa stabilité dimensionnelle. Un autre mode de réalisation fournit un corps d'attache droit (112) pourvu d'un raccord articulé (122) central et de deux raccords coudés (128) autour desquels le corps (112) peut être fléchi de manière à assembler les deux extrémités interverrouillées. Chaque raccord coudé (128) comprend des paires de projections (168) opposées assurant la stabilité de l'ensemble. Un bloc (120) disposé sur un côté de chaque raccord coudé (128) pénètre dans une rainure (138) entre les projections (168) opposées, de manière à verrouiller le raccord (128) et éviter la rétreinte latérale.
