Abstract On the plastic handle used to clip on to the baseball cap's beak in order to make a secure catching device out of the cap, one that can be used by either left or right hand, and one that can give much more range to the man, woman or child baseball fan who is in a position to catch a stray baseball coming his or her way, it is known to have a knob at the and of it, so that it does not slip from the hand when the force of the ball is applied in the process of catching the ball. This clip-handle is also known to have on one of the extremities on one side of it a 180° hook of sufficient diameter to grasp firmly the band and the seam of the cap from the inside. In this way, when force is applied, the rigid but not brittle plastic hook does not slip off, but rather digs in more into the band and seam of the cap The other side of this clip-handle, opposite the hook, is also known to have a hot dog shape that is of the approximate size and curvature of an average baseball cap so as to facilitate the positioning of the cap opening when catching a baseball from any angle and to give it stability.
