Methods and apparatus for close coupled mounting of a pair of series connected turbines (40, 41) by axially aligning and abutting the axial outlet (50) of one turbine (40) against the axial inlet (42) of the other turbine (41) with a seal (56) surrounding the turbine junction and with tie rods (60) extending between radially projecting apertured ears (52) of the turbines securing the turbines together and supporting the turbines on a generally U-shaped mounting bracket (70) having spaced apart flanges engaging the tie rods. An air baffle (104) partitions the space containing the two turbines into two air plenums (106, 108) to prevent hot air exhausted by the larger turbine from entering the air inlet to the turbine impellers, and an indicator (110) provides a perceptible indication that the filter (14) is becoming blocked.

Procédé et appareil de montage couplé et fermé d'une paire de trubines connectées en série (40, 41) et alignées axialement, la sortie axiale (50) d'une turbine (40) venant buter contre l'entrée axiale (42) de l'autre turbine (41).
