Tools of plastics processing machines are cooled over their surface and/or at particular points as soon as compound supply is finished. Heat is thus suitably withdrawn from the shaped compound, ensuring the fastest possible cooling and shortening cycle times. The invention relates to a closed, coolant- filled cooling system for tools (4) of plastics processing machines having at least one compressor (8), a supply pipe (71), a tool region to be cooled and a discharge pipe, the supply pipe being connected to the outlet of the compressor and the discharge pipe being connected to the inlet of the compressor, while at least one open end of the supply pipe plunges into at least one bore (41) arranged in the tool region to be cooled, and an open end of the discharge pipe is sealed to this bore. The supply pipe and the discharge pipe may be combined in a coaxial pipe with the supply pipe arranged in the centre and the discharge pipe enveloping the supply pipe.
Des outils de machines de transformation des plastiques sont refroidis sur toute leur surface et/ou en certains points, dès que l'alimentation en masse est terminée. Ainsi, la chaleur est extraite de la masse moulée de manière ciblée, ce qui permet un refroidissement le plus rapide possible et une réduction des temps de cycle. Cette invention concerne un système de refroidissement fermé, rempli d'un fluide frigorigène, pour des outils de machines de transformation des plastiques, lequel système comprend au moins un compresseur, un conduit d'alimentation, une zone d'outil à refroidir et un conduit d'évacuation. Selon l'invention, le conduit d'alimentation et le conduit d'évacuation sont respectivement raccordés à la sortie et à l'entrée du compresseur. D'autre part, au moins une extrémité ouverte du conduit d'alimentation s'enfonce dans au moins un alésage formé dans la zone d'outil à refroidir et une extrémité ouverte du conduit d'évacuation est reliée de manière étanche à cet alésage. Il est possible de regrouper les conduits d'alimentation et d'évacuation en un conduit coaxial, en plaçant le conduit d'alimentation à l'intérieur et le conduit d'évacuation autour du conduit d'alimentation.
