A closing device for drawers, the device having a housing with a holding notch and a slider having a resilient latching arm that is bendable to engage the holding notch, as well as a spring that engages the housing and the slider to urge the slider to a rearward position relative to the housing. The resilient latching arm has a slot adapted to receive a pin, whereby as the drawer is moved from its closed position, the relative movement of the pin advances the resilient latching ami to engage the holding notch. As the drawer is moved rearward toward its closed position, the relative movement of the pin will cause it to engage the slot in the resilient latching arm, further causing it to release from the holing notch and to be urged by the spring to move the drawer toward to a closed position.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de fermeture pour tiroirs, ce dispositif possédant un boîtier avec une encoche de retenue et un curseur possédant un bras de verrouillage élastique qui peut se recourber pour entrer en contact avec l'encoche de retenue, ainsi qu'un ressort qui entre en contact avec le boîtier et de curseur afin de presser ce dernier vers l'arrière par rapport au boîtier. Le bras de verrouillage élastique possède une fente conçue pour recevoir une cheville, de sorte que lorsque le tiroir est tiré à partir de sa position fermée, le mouvement relatif de cette cheville fait avancer le curseur dans une position dans laquelle le bras de verrouillage élastique entre en contact avec l'encoche de retenue et le tiroir peut alors se déplacer davantage vers l'extérieur sans influence du dispositif de fermeture. Lorsque le tiroir est déplacé vers l'arrière vers sa position fermée, le mouvement relatif de la cheville aura pour effet de le faire entrer en contact avec la fente dans le bras de verrouillage élastique, le libérant davantage de l'encoche de retenue, le ressort poussant pour déplacer le tiroirs vers sa position fermée.
